SKF recently introduced a fluoroelastomer seal that is resistant to low temperature and corrosion resistance additives (LTAAP). This is a brand new shaft sealing solution for the automotive sector, which improves the resistance to extreme cold temperatures and the corrosion resistance of gear lubricants. This product uses a new fluororubber material, which helps to prolong the sealing durability of the product under extreme conditions such as high temperature, corrosion and even minus 40°C. However, the traditional sealing solution cannot simultaneously resist the dual challenges of low temperature and corrosion.
